About Us - What types of businesses do Crucial Networking work with?

The bottom line for us is whether or not the project feels like a good fit. We ask ourselves questions like:

  • Do we like these guys? Does it feel right?
  • Can we be passionate about their business and get behind what they're doing?
  • Does the project present challenges that we can provide solid solutions for?
  • Do we have the resources and time to take on this project?

Small businesses

We're a small, local business too. We identify with the other small business owners of the world, who take enormous pride in what they've created, and who appreciate being able to call us up and actually get one of the three owners of the company on the phone at any time.

We can work with you to identify the goals that you have to grow your business, and how you can effectively leverage the Internet to do so. We can also help you with the computer & network setup in your office, too.

Large businesses

The fact that most of our customers are "little guys" doesn't mean we don't work with "the big boys" too. We have completed projects large and small for some very large (Fortune 500 to be exact) corporations. Whether it's a banner ad, advising on social marketing strategy, designing/building a microsite, or creating a global sales application, we have done it.

Musicians

We're five guys with an insatiable hunger for music. Classic rock. Modern rock. 80s rock. Hip hop. Jazz. The barefoot surfer vibe. We love it all. There's been no better (and critical) time for musicians to harness the power of the Internet than right now. We understand the technology that's out there (we use it all too), and can help you use it to your advantage.

Over the past several years, we've enjoyed working with Candlebox, Mike Farris, Second Coming, From Sword to Sunrise, The Hiwatts, redlightmusic, Dan Walker, John Colby, David J. Holman, The Kings Royal, Jay Shogren, and Vegas Radio.

International corporations

International companies provide their own set of challenges. In addition to the obvious challenge (translation into native langauges) there are programming challenges (for instance Asian languages require a double-byte character set). We have created large web sites that do "on the fly" language swaps, and employ different character sets/languages based on user preferences.

Ad agencies

Our 3 founders all come from an Ad Agency background. We get it. We've worked as a subcontractor for many of the ad agencies in the area for many years now. We're well-versed in the dynamics of large agencies and can work seemlessly within that context. We've done a wide variety of work too, including: web site design and development, banner ad creation (and resizes of existing creative), custom applications, html emails, microsites...

Who does Crucial work with?

The answer might surprise you.

We're not jacks of all trades, masters of none. We have our specialties, sure.

We do love to diversify, however. We're a small company and nimble enough that we can serve the needs of just about anyone.
