This stage occurs between the time we receive the signed contract/deposit from you and the time that we begin the actual design and architecture of your site or project.
We use this time to work with you to gather relevant assets, like any existing copy, your logo, relevant imagery, etc. After all, we can't design your web site without having these things available to us, to help support and anchor "the look." Well, we could...but your site would end up being a vehicle for things that were dropped in later as an afterthought, rather than an intentional and purposeful part of "the whole."
We also use this time to more closely evaluate your competitors and peers.
