The gracious host of American Yogini, Mary McGuire, has been creating workshops and retreats as a way to teach yoga in a whole new way, by taking it "off the mat" and into the kitchens, homes, adventures and even the world of artists around the world.
American Yogini, in addition to being a presenter of international art and yoga adventures, is a luxurious, yet homey waterfront retreat in the Hamptons, specializing in raw juice fasting for women in groups or privately.
**Crucial Networking's role for this project was to redesign/redevelop American Yogini's web site and create something that brings the vibrant, soothing, and organic essence of American Yogini to the web. In addition to the revised look of the new web site, the key challenge was logical and intuitive presentation of the abundance of information offered on the web site. This was achieved using tasteful flash animation, sound color theory, dhtml, and a wider layout (optimized for 1024x768 monitor resolutions).
The robust Content Management System developed is a key feature of this project, as it will allow Mary and her staff to quickly and easily update all text areas of their site; a must given their hectic schedule of both worldwide and local retreats. This includes the ability to manage new retreats/calendar items and manage registrations online.
