Rodrigo Gracie is a member of the world-famous Gracie family, pioneers in the field of mixed martial arts.
**Crucial Networking's role for this project is to develop a cutting-edge virtual Jiu-Jitsu academy for Rodrigo. Featuring a tiered membership structure, the site will center around video instruction, with members having the ability to download instructional videos, as well as upload video "questions" for Rodrigo to address and personally respond to.
The site will be powered by a Content Management System on the backend that will allow Rodrigo to manage content/members himself. The site itself will also employ php and ajax-based elements, in addition to a flash-based video player driven by an xml backend. These elements will be implemented to allow for a quick & easy user experience on what will be a media/content-rich web site.
Enhanced security measures will be in place to offer protection to Rodrigo for his proprietary content. Such measures will include requiring users to "authorize" their machines for use/receipt of content, in order to control the dissemination of that content to other computers.
